Delhi EWS Admission 2024: The Directorate of Education, (DoE) Delhi has started the admission process for Economically Weaker Section category students in private schools in Delhi for the 2024-25 academic year. Parents of eligible candidates can visit the official website of DoE Delhi to complete the application process. The last date for students to submit the applications os May 15, 2024. Parents need to submit the applications through the link available on the official website - edudel.nic.in. 

EWS Quota Admissions 

Admissions in Delhi schools under the EWS quota is applicable for 25% seats reserved under the category. The seats are allotted through a computerised lottery system which will draw sets on May 20, 2024. Parents whose wards have been alloted seats must visit the allotted schools and complete the admission process.

Step 1: Visit the official website of DoE Delhi

Step 2: Click on EWD/ DG Admission link

Step 3: Click on the registration link provided

Step 4: Fill out the necessary details and complete the application form

Step 5: Upload all necessary documents

Step 6: Save the filled application and click on submit

When filling out the applications parents are required to submit the following documents

  • Birth certificate
  • Income certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Ration card,
  • Parents' ID,
  • Certificate of disability (if applying under CWSN)
