
Delhi University has released a separate set of guidelines for conducting online open-book- examinations for the differently-abled students. The guidelines have been issued for the Divyang students after the decision to conduct the examinations only for the final year and final semester students for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the different streams was taken by the university.
The online examination mode has been taken up by the university as an alternative method for the regular examinations as a one time measure for grading the final year students due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As per another notification available on the website of the university, the intermediate semester examinations for the UG and PG students have been cancelled by the university.

Examination Guidelines
According to the official notification for the examination guidelines for the Divyaand (PWD) category students, the total duration of OBE examination shall be Five Hours which will include two hours for attempting the examination according to the prescribed time for the OBE and one hour for the purpose of downloading the question paper and uploading the scanned images of the answer sheets, extra time of 20 minutes will also be provided per hour.
The guidelines issued by the board also stated that the colleges, departments, faculties or institutions of the university have been directed with specific guidelines to make sure that the students belonging to the PWD category who wish to avail the Information and Communication Technology infrastructure \facilities for downloading the question papers and uploading the answer sheets should be allowed the same as per the guidelines of social distancing, safety and health of all involved.
The guidelines also suggest that the students can use the facilities at the Common Service Centres (CSC)free of cost. For more details on this students can check the official website of the university.
The students under the PWD category can also avail the facility of Scribes or writers and the university will provide them with the same. Students can also bring the scribes or writers of their choice at the designated CSCs.
