Mumbai University Exams Postponed Due to Heavy Rains, New Dates Soon
Mumbai University: Due to severe waterlogging and heavy rains, the University of Mumbai has postponed all undergraduate and postgraduate exams scheduled for July 6, 2026. The decision prioritizes student safety. A revised timetable will be announced shortly on mu.ac.in. Students must preserve their original hall tickets for the rescheduled exams.
Mumbai University: According to the weather advisory released by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the University of Mumbai has finally come up with a decision to postpone all the exams that were to be conducted on July 6, 2026. This decision is considered highly significant from the point of view of providing utmost security to all the students and staff members of the university due to weather-related problems prevailing in the metro city.
According to the notice issued by the university, all the undergraduate and postgraduate exams scheduled to take place on the aforementioned date have been deferred. This decision has been taken because of severe waterlogging, disruption of public transport and continuous rainfall throughout the day. All the students have been advised not to come to their respective examination centers on the mentioned date. It should also be noted that the new date of the examination will be announced on the official website of the university shortly.

Revised Exam Dates to Be Announced Soon
The University of Mumbai has officially announced that the revised timetable of all those examinations which were originally planned to be held on July 6, 2026, will be published very soon. After having changed the examination due to rainfall, the university has officially announced that the candidates need to keep visiting the website of the university for more updates.
According to the official announcement of the university:
"New timetable for the said examination will be published very soon on the official website of University of Mumbai. Students are requested to frequently check the notices on the website of the university." Candidates are required to preserve their original hall ticket and have to visit mu.ac.in for revised datesheet.
