NEET MDS 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has postponed the examination date for NEET MDS 2024. According to the official notification, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery will now be held on March 18, 2024.
Previously, the exam was scheduled to be held on February 9, 2024. As per the latest notice, the cut-off for eligibility to appear in the exam is March 31, 2024. NEET MDS 2024 is being administered for admission to 6,228 MDS seats in 259 dental colleges in India.
The 17 topics studied in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree will be included in the exam syllabus for students. NEET MDS 2024 exam will have Part A and B, comprising 100 and 140 questions each.
NEET MDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants for the NEET MDS 2024 should be either Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas nationals of India (OCIs), or nationals of India.
- They must hold a BDS degree in addition to a temporary or permanent registration certificate from the State Dental Council (SDC) or the Dental Council of India.
- Aspirants must have completed or are likely to finish the 12-month rotatory internship on or before June 30, 2024.
