NEET UG 2025 Registration: NTA Guidelines, Exam Rules, Notification at neet.nta.nic.in

NEET UG 2025: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2025 official test date announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The schedule will be updated on this page and on the official NEET website, neet.nta.nic.in, as soon as it is made public.

In order to apply for NEET UG 2025, students must fill out an application and provide the required files.

NEET UG 2025: No Optional Question

The optional questions in Section B of the NEET UG 2025 have been eliminated by NTA. The NEET UG exam in 2025 will return to its pre-COVID format, and candidates will no longer have access to the optional questions and extra time that were added during COVID-19.

The optional portion has been in use until 2024 and was first implemented as a temporary measure to address the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. There will now be 180 required questions in the NEET UG 2025 paper: 90 questions in biology and 45 questions in chemistry and physics. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the paper.

How to Register for NEET UG 2025?

Interested candidates should apply for the NEET UG exams by filling out the application form online on the official website. Check the steps below in order to register for NEET UG Exams 2025:

Step 1: Go to the official NEET UG 2025 website at neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the NEET UG 2025 registration link.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form with the required details.

Step 4: Pay the application fee online.

Step 5: Submit the form after reviewing all details.

Step 6: Download and save the registration form as a PDF for future use.

Step 7: Print a copy of the form for your records.

Candidates were previously urged by NTA to integrate their APAAR ID and update their Aadhar data. The testing agency has now made it clear that the NEET UG 2025 application process does not require an APAAR ID.
