The Board conducts the examinations for both the classes any time between March – April every year.
Both the classes that are 10th and the 12th board examinations are conducted by the Uttarakhand Vidyalay Shiksha Parishad.
In the year, 2012, the board declared both the Class 10 and 12 results on the same day, that is 29 May 2012.
in terms of Class 12, in the year 2010, the total number of students who appeared for the examination were 118395, while 86418 students cleared the examination. The pass percentage in general stood at, 74.36% with the girls being at a slight increase to 82.36% and boys standing at 66.87%. For class 12, the pass percentage for both, the regular and the private students took a hike.
