Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak (IIM-R) will organize and host its flagship management event called “the third edition of Mission India Management Conclave”. The event is to take place in the campus on coming Saturday and Sunday. "Finding the Silver Lining: Growth during Business Uncertainty" is the theme, set for this year's Conclave.
Kalpesh Kothar (Public Relation officer of IIM-R) stated that, the nation saw a bend in the GDP growth at 4.4 %, in the first quarter of the fiscal year. It was the slowest in four years. Besides, the potential threats due to weakening of rupee and rising headline inflation, key areas of the economy such as construction, manufacturing, mining are also having a slowdown and calls for urgent need for businesses to grow amidst the situation and make the best out of it.
The conclave is being sponsored by the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur. It is expecting to bring dignitaries from the industry as well as universities on one common platform. Discussions and debate strategies on how to emerge stronger from the current economic situation will take place in the event, as informed by Mr. Kothar.
The contribution and participation of senior executives from organizations like British Airways, Barclays, Accenture, Yes Bank, Capgemini, SAP India, Oracle India, Reliance Industries, ITC, Haier, American Express, Vedanta and many other well-known corporate in the country will be witnessed by this Conclave' 13 In IIM-R.
The talks in this 2-day event would cover in several current growth themes of areas relating to Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, and Strategy & IT.
