3rd India Finance Conference to be hosted by IIM Ahmedabad on 18-19 Dec

The Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will be hosting the third edition of the India Finance Conference (IFC), scheduled on December 18 and 19. This 3rd conference will be organized together by IIM-Ahmedabad, IIM-Bangalore and IIM-Calcutta.

The conference is expecting to witness the presence of around 100 academics, researchers, and practitioners belonging to both India and abroad. The papers and research work shall be present among others, in the event, informed a press release issued by IIM-A on 16 December.

The conference is to be inaugurated by Professor Ravi Jagannathan, Professor of Finance, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, US, followed by an important perspective on "Getting Better–Learning to Invest in an Emerging Stock Market" to be addressed by Professor Tarun Ramadorai, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, London

The second day will observe keynote address on the topic "Risk and Governance in Corporations and Banks" to be delivered by the Professor Kose John, Professor of Banking and Finance, NYU Stern School of Business, New York University.

The event will also have technical sessions on Asset Pricing, Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, Market Linkages, Market Microstructure and Derivatives & Regulation.
