Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI) is a premier research Institute in the field of Electronics set up under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). The Institute is looking for eligible candidates for temporary positions of "Project Assistants" for various ongoing Sponsored/ Network/ Supra Institutional Projects in the Areas of: Microwave Tubes, Semiconductor Devices, and Electronic Systems at CEERI, Pilani.
Name of the Post & Number of Vacancies
- Microwave Tube Area: 20 vacancies (level I-8, level II- 10, level III- 2)
- Semiconductor Devices Area: 5 vacancies (level II- 3, level III- 2)
- Electronic Systems Area: 8 vacancies (level II- 3, level III- 5)

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (for level I and level II); Maximum 30 years (for level III)
Pay Scale
- Level I: Rs 7000
- Level II: Rs 10000
- Level III: Rs 12000
Tenure of Engagement: Six months in the first instance, likely to be extended in steps of six months for the duration of project based on satisfactory performance. The total tenure as Project Assistant shall not exceed 5 years in any case. Candidates who have already completed work as Project Assistant for 5 years in any CSIR Laboratory/ Institute will not be considered.
