Ambedkar University, Delhi introduces a New Research Center

    The Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) has set up a Center for Development Practice (CDP) in its premise, which is a research centre that will help promoting the idea of the field of ‘development practice’ in the university.
    A professor of Ambedkar University said that this centre will come up as a research, documentation, capacity building and reflection site for the scholars and agents of developmental sector who are engaged with issues like rural livelihood, education, governance and health. The CDP is also expected to serve as a core area for AUD's further engagement with social development.
    The requirement for setting up CDP also resulted out of the realizations sprung from the studies of the one- year long M. Phil program in development practice.
