APPSC Group 2 Result 2024: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the result of screening test on its official website - psc.ap.gov.in. The result was announced in pdf format, which contains the roll number of all selected candidates.
As per the list released by the commission, it contains the list of roll numbers of 92250 candidates who will be called for the main examination of group 2 services, which is scheduled to be conducted on July 28, 2024.
The commission has also released the list of candidates who got rejected because of tampering, multiple booklet series encoding and where no booklet series encoded in the answer sheet.
What After APPSC Group 2 Screening Test Result?
The candidates who are declared successful in the screening test/ prelims test will be now called for mains examination. The admit card for the main exam will get released 1 week before examination.
The Main exam will consist of two objective-type papers of 150 marks each which majorly focus on social and cultural history of Andhra Pradesh, Indian Constitution, Economies of India and Andhra Pradesh, Science and Technology, etc. The candidates are requested to regularly visit the official website regarding the exam centre, admit card and any other relevant information regarding the examination
APSSC Group 2 Selection Procedure
The candidate will be selected solely on the basis of their performance in a written examination, which will be conducted in two stages, i.e., prelims and main. Based on merit in the main written examination, the candidates will be shortlisted for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
The applicant will be chosen entirely based on how well they perform in a written test that has two phases: preliminary and mains. The preliminary examination will act as the screening test, and the marks scored in the main examination will be considered for preparing the merit list.
After the main examination, the candidates have to go through the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
APPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern for Main Examination
