Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Job Notification: APSC Recruitment 2020 Notification: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has extended the online applications last date for recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer. All interested candidates who have missed the opportunity to fill up the online applications can now submit applications on or before 12 October 2020 at apsc.nic.in.
Around 637 Vacancies of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer posts will be recruited only. Earlier, the last date of application was 22 September 2020. Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- Assistant Engineer Civil/Mechanical/Electrical: A person must possess a Degree in the respective branch of Engineering from any Institute recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Age Limit: 21 years to 38 years as on 01 January 2020.
- Junior Engineer Civil/Mechanical/Electrical: A person must have passed three years diploma course in the concerned Engineering discipline from an Institution recognized by the Government, SCTE (State Council for Technical Education). Diploma obtained through distance mode of education will not be acceptable. Age Limit: 18 years to 38 years as on 01 January 2020.
- Assistant Engineer Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical: (i) The person must possess a Degree in (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical) of an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Govt. or a candidate must have passed ( Parts A & B) of AMIE (India) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical Engineering.
(ii) Graduate with Bachelor Degree in Engg. must be a Regular Course. Age Limit: 21 years to 38 years as on 01 January 2020.
