Army recruitment rally for Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar candidates will begin from 29 September. The 04 day long recruitment drive will be conducted by Indian Army at Bandipora.
Indian Army will organise the recruitment rally for 05 districts of North Kashmir namely Bandipora, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Baramulla & Srinagar.
The online application process was held from 01 May till 30 August. The Common Entrance Exam / CEE will be held at 23 October 2016.
Indian army aims at recruiting eligible candidates to Junior Commissioned Officer and Other Ranks. This will be a great opportunity for all those candidates who aspire to serve the nation by joining the defence sector.

Prior to this, Indian Army had conducted recruitment rally for aspirants at Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. Though a great response was expected, few aspirants turned up due to the place being the centre of agitation.
Relaxations and bonus marks are provided to those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria set for them. In addition to this, standard minimum height, unexpanded chest and weight of the candidates have been set as per the region of recruitment. Candidates should note that the entire country has been divided into six regions namely; Western Plains Region, Eastern Plains Region, Central Region, Southern Region, Western Himalayan Region and Eastern Himalayan Region.
