BHEL, Haridwar Invited Online Applications for Sr. Medical Officer Post

    Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), one of the leading ‘Navratna’ PSUs and country's premier engineering and manufacturing company that provides world class products and services to core sectors like Power, Transmission, Industry, Transportation  (Railway), Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas and Defence.

    BHEL issued notification for recruitment of 5 Senior Medical Officer for its hospital at its Haridwar Unit. Interested eligible candidates can apply online till 21 February 2013.

    Age Limit (as on 1 January 2013): 37 years

    [Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC-NC, by 5 years for SC & ST candidates, by 10 years for Physically Challenged candidates.]

    Application Fee: An application fee of Rs.250 has to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India to the ‘Power Jyoti Account No.30989466064 ’at SBI, SECTOR 5A (Code No.0586) in favor of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Haridwar. The fee can be deposited using the triplicate challan available for download on the BHEL website.

    SC / ST / PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

    Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed at minimum of scale and will be on probation for a period of one year. The scale of pay for E2 Grade is Rs 29100-54500.

    Selection Process: Final selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Personal Interview.

    If the number of eligible applicants is more than candidates will be invited for personal interview in the ratio of 1:8 to the number of vacancies on the basis of the percentage of the MBBS degree marks.

    Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to meeting the health standards prescribed by the Company.

    Travel Allowance: Candidates invited for personal interview will be reimbursed to and fro Two Tier AC train fare from the mailing address or the starting station, whichever is nearer to the place of interview by the shortest route on production of proof of journey.

    How to Apply: Candidates can apply online through the website. On successful submission of online Application, candidates are required to take the print out of the system generated Acknowledgement Slip, having a unique acknowledgement number, and send it along with BHEL copy of the Challan and copies of all relevant certificates to ‘The Manager (HR), HR Department, Room No. 29, Main Administrative Building, HEEP, BHEL, Ranipur, Haridwar – 249403 ’ so as to reach the given address on or before 7 March 2013.

    On the envelope containing the application candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of SMO (Specialization)” .

    NOTE: Candidates with PG Degree / PG Diploma in the speciality concerned must possess a minimum 1 year / 2 years of relevant post qualification experience/practice.

    Post Qualification experience in ICU / ICCU section is desirable for candidates applying for posts related to ICU.

    Internship training shall not be considered as work experience.

    MBBS degree should be recognized by Medical Council of India and candidates should be registered with either Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

    Though the post is initially at Haridwar, selected candidate can be transferred / posted at any of the Company's Offices / Divisions anywhere in India and abroad.

    No request for transfer or change in place of posting shall be entertained for the first five years of service unless transferred by the company in organizational interest.
