CAT 2014 is set to be conducted on 16th and 22nd November 2014. This year only two days have been kept for the CAT 2014 examination instead of a long test window. Admit cards will be available for downloading from 19th October 2014; 1 p.m. onwards. Earlier CAT 2014 Admit card was to be made available from 16th October 2014. But as the registration window was opened for one more day on 10th October 2014, admit card downloading was extended.
The message from CAT 2014 conducting IIM Indore reads “Admit card will be available for view and print from Sunday, 19th October 2014, 1:00PM onwards. One will have to log onto the CAT website with their registered User ID. One will be eligible for an Admit Card only upon submission of online application form. One will receive an automated email confirmation upon successful submission. “
CAT conducting IIM and testing agency TCS had to move away from their earlier commitment of issuing the CAT 2014 Admit cards on October 16 2014 onwards to October 19, 2014 onwards. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the testing centre without the Admit card. one will have to download, save and carry the hard copy of their CAT 2014 Admit card to the examination centre by all means.
Earlier CAT 2014 conducting IIM promised “Admit card will be available for view and print from Thursday, 16th October 2014 onwards. You will have to log onto the CAT website with your registered User ID.” The sudden change in schedule of issuing the CAT 2014 admit cards came on 15th October 2014.
CAT 2014 conducting IIM Indore has stated “Admit Card is a mandatory document required to take the exam. You must bring a print out of your Admit Card to the exam centre.” Even though no hard copy of CAT 2014 admit card will be issued by IIM Indore and testing agency TCS, it will be the responsibility of the candidate to download and take prints of CAT 2014 admit card as and when the same is issued by CAT 2014 conducting IIM and testing agency.
