CAT 2014 is being conducted on 16th & 22nd November 2014 this year. CAT conducting body has brought it to CAT 2014 applicant`s notice that today (30th September 2014) is the last day of registration. And they have requested the CAT 2014 aspirants to avoid last minute registrations, as payment received till 11:59 p.m. will only be accepted and there is a long process of filling in all the details and further application form after that. It will be tough to complete the full process if it is not started in time.
The official website for CAT 2014 has published a notification mentioning that - The “Register Now” link in the CAT 2014 website will be disabled by 11:59 PM and the
“Existing User “link will be available only for “View/Download”, the submitted application form and to download the Admit Card from 16th October, 2014 for the examination.
They have very clearly mentioned that " No extension of time for submission of application/payment etc. will be considered under any circumstances".
To make CAT 2014 examination more comfortable and simple IM-Indore has increased the examination time from 140 minutes to 170 minutes. It has discontinued purchase of offline vouchers and the number of questions has been increased to 50 in each section - quantitative aptitude & data interpretation, verbal ability and logical reasoning. Previously there were 30 questions in it.
