Approximately 5 lakhs candidates appeared for CBSE Class 12 Maths board exam 2018 today (that is 21 March). Majority of students who took the exam today; said the paper was easy as compared to the last year’s Maths paper. As per the subject teachers of various schools, paper was easy and a few questions were almost similar to the questions given in Class 12 Maths NCERT Textbook.
As we have taken the feedback from various schools, so the marks expectation from some students is even 95 to 100. The reason for such a high marks expectation is that the paper was completely NCERT based. And we know that CBSE board students prefer NCERT book for the preparation.
Format of the CBSE Class 12 Maths Paper 2018:
The pattern of the CBSE Class 12 Maths 2018 board exam paper was as per latest Sample Paper (issued by CBSE). There were 4 sections in the paper i.e., (A, B, C and D). More detail about each section is given below:
Section A | Question number 1 – 4 were very short-answer type questions carrying 1 mark each |
Section B | Questions number 5 – 12 were short-answer type questions carrying 2 marks each |
Section C | Questions number 13 – 23 were long-answer-I type questions carrying 4 marks each |
Section D | Questions number 24 – 29 were long-answer-II type questions carrying 6 marks each |
