Find CBSE Class 11 Physics Practice Paper, Set-III for the coming exam. This paper is mainly based on the 3rd unit (Laws of motion) of class 11th physics. Suddenly Anuj stood up and asked his professor, “Is there any system where the mass also changes?" Professor happily replied to his query with some examples.

(ii) Give two examples of varying mass system.
Q. Derive an expression for velocity of propulsion of a rocket at any instant. A rocket engine consumes 2 quintal of fuel per second. The exhaust speed of gases with respect to the rocket is 5 km/s. What is the force exerted on the rocket also calculate the velocity acquired by the rocket when its mass reduces to 1/100th of its initial mass.
