CDAC Recruitment of Project Engineers 2011

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) is a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India. CDAC invites application from eligible candidates for the following posts for a fixed term of 3 years.

Name of the Post and Number of Vacancies

• Project Engineer I- 80 posts (Electronics 32, Computer Science 45, Instrumentation 3) (Gen 41, OBC 21, SC 12 & ST 6)
• Project Engineer II- 17 posts (Electronics 10, Computer Science 3, Electrical 4) (Gen 10, OBC 04, SC 02 & ST 01)

• Last Date for online application: 3 August 2011
• Date for Online Test: 6 August 2011/ 7 August 2011
• List of short listed candidates for interview: 9 August 2011

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Project Engineer I- 1st class (60%) BE/ B.Tech in Electronics & Communications/ applied Electronics/ Computer Science/ Applied Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics and Instrumentation.
• Project Engineer II- 1st Class (60%) ME/ M Tech in Electronics/ VLSI/ Computer Science/ Electrical (Power Systems/ Power Electronics).

Age Limit: 30 years as on 3 August 2011

Remuneration

• Project Engineer I- Rs 15,000 per month
• Project Engineer II- Rs 18000 per month

Selection Procedure

Candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria are required to appear for an online test on forenoon/ afternoon/ evening on 6 August 2011/ 7 August 2011 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. The candidates can choose the Centre in which they desire to take the test. Exact venue of the Test will be intimated through email. The list of candidates short listed for interview will be published in the website of C-DAC Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, the 9 August 2011 and the first two level of interviews will be conducted at the respective centres where the candidate has taken test on Saturday, the 13 August 2011. Candidates short listed based on the second level interview will be called for final interview at C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram on Friday, the 19 August 2011 and Saturday, the 20 August 2011.
