The candidates applying for the constables/trademen vacancies must be between the ages of 18 and 23. Along with fulfilling the age criteria, the candidate should have passed matriculation or equivalent qualification from the board and candidates who are Industrial Training Institute-trained personnel will be preferred.

The crucial date for determining the age limit will be August 1, 2025. The relaxation in age will also be given to reserved category candidates as per the government guidelines.
CISF Constable 2025: Educational Qualification
The candidates applying for the announced vacancies must have passed matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognised board. Educational certificates other than those issued by the State Board/Central Board should be accompanied by a notification from the Government of India declaring that such qualification is equivalent to a matriculation or 10th class pass for service under the Central Government.
