Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be announcing results of Class 10th board examinations by May 28, 2018 tentatively. The students who appeared for Class 10 board examination will be applying for admissions in Class 11th. They will be selecting a stream as per their choice (career options) and performance in CBSE Class 10th Results 2018. 1. Jawahar Navodaya Admissions 2018
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti conducts Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Tests for admissions to vacant seats in Class 6th, Class 9th and Class 11th. Students seeking admissions to the Navodaya Vidyalayas can apply for admissions through an online application for JNVST as available for each class on the official website.
Date of registration – After announcement of CBSE Class 10th results
Admission List – First week of June on basis of Class 10 result
Eligibility Criteria for Class 11th admissions at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas –
- Students must be passed in Class 10th qualifying examination from a recognised school affiliated to CBSE or any state board of education
- They must be between 14 to 18 years of age as on July 01, 2018

2. JMI School Admissions 2018
Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) has already begun Class 11th Admissions for its schools in academic sessions 2018-19. Students who wish to take admission in Class 11th at JMI Schools can apply in online mode before the last date of application. The admissions to Class 11th are based on eligibility criteria and Entrance Test conducted by the university.
Admission Registration Dates: by First week of April every year
JMI School Entrance Test dates: May 30 and 31, 2018
Admission Lists: June 09 to July 10, 2018
Eligibility Criteria for Class 11th admissions at JMI Schools:
Must have passed Class 10th qualifying board exam from state board or national board
Students must have obtained overall 41% or grade C2 in the aggregate of all subjects and not less than 33% in any of the subject

3. Kendriya Vidyalaya School Admissions 2018-2019
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan will be announcing admissions to Class 11th for Science, Commerce and Humanities stream. The notification for KV School Class 11th Admissions for academic session 2018- 2019 will be released only after announcement of CBSE Class 10th Board results 2018 which is expected to be announced on May 28, 2018.
Admission Registration Dates – After May 28, 2018 or by first week of June 2018
Admission list – By third week of June 2018
Eligibility Criteria for Class 11th admissions at Kendriya Vidyalayas:
- Students must have passed Class 10th qualifying examination with minimum marks required
- Students must be between 15 years to 18 years of age

4. Delhi Government School Admissions 2018
Directorate of Education, New Delhi will begin admissions to Class 11th for Commerce and Science streams. Students studying in the government schools of Delhi can register with their own school only. The Class 11th admission registration for Delhi Government School for academic session 2018-19 will begin soon after the announcement of CBSE Class 10 Result 2018.
Admission dates: June 1, 2018
Admission list: June 11 to July 09, 2018-05-23

5. BHU School Admission Test 2018
BHU School Entrance Test (BHU SET) is conducted by Banaras Hindu University for admissions to Class 9th and Class 11th for offering seats in Central Hindu Boys’ School (CHBS) and Central Hindu Girls’ School (CHGS).
Admission Registration Dates: March 01 to March 31, 2018
Admission List: by June 22, 2018
Eligibility Criteria for Class 11th admissions at BHU Schools:
- Students must not be more than 18 years of age as on September 30, 2018
- They must have qualified Class 10th board examination with minimum qualifying marks as per stream
