Eligibility Criteria for Medical Officer & Other Posts
Educational Qualification
- Technical Supervisor: Science Graduate with Biology as a paper. Candidate must be sound in health and capable of extensive field work. Candidate must have two wheeler driving license.
- Medical Officer: MBBS from MCI recognized Institute with 1 year compulsory Internship. Must be recognized under West Bengal Medical Council.
- Lab Technician (NUHM): Higher Secondary passed (10+2) from a recognized Board/ Institute with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology recognized by the West Bengal State Medical Faculty / AICTE. Knowledge in computer, MS Office, Internet is required.
- District consultant (Quality Assurance): MBBS/ Dental / AYUSH / Nursing graduate and with masters in Hospital administration / Health Management (MHA-Full time or equivalent) applicable for all Candidates with 2 years of experience in Public Health / Hospital administration.
- District consultant (Public Health): MBBS/ Dental/ AYUSH/ Nursing graduate with degree/ diploma in Health Management applicable for all candidates with 2 years relevant work experience.
- Facility level (Quality Manager): MBBS / Dental / AYUSH / Nursing / Life Science graduate with masters in Hospital Administration / Health Management applicable for all candidates with one year experience in public Health / Hospital administration. Candidates with experience in Health care Quality/ formal quality of a quality system would be preferred.
- DEO, SNCU: Graduate from any recognized university and having at least 1 (one) year Diploma / Certificate course in Computer Application from Govt. Registered institution.
- Programme Officer (Mental Health): Psychiatrist: Qualified Psychiatrist having qualification of MBBS with MD/DNB Psychiatry/DPN or equivalent P.G. qualification. Trained medical Officer: MBBS with 4 months training in Psychiatry in NIMHANS, CIP, LGBRIMH-Tejpur or other identified intuitions.
- Psychiatric Social Worker / Social Worker (Mental Health): Psychiatric Social Worker: M. Phil in Psychiatric Social Work of 2 years duration from any recognized institution. Trained Medical Social Worker: Master of Social Work (MSW) from any recognized institution with 3 months training in PSW in NIMHANS, CIP, LGBRIMH - Tejpur or other identified institution.
- Psychiatric Nurse / Trained General Nurse (Mental Health): Psychiatric Nurse: M. Sc in Psychiatric Nursing or DPN. Trained General Nurse: GNM from any recognized Nursing Council with one month training in Psychiatric Nursing in NIMHANS, CIP, LGBRIMH - Tejpur or other identified institution.
- Clinical Psychologist / Psychologist: Clinical Psychologist: M. Phil in Clinical Psychology of 2 years duration from any recognized institution.Trained Psychologist: MA / M. Sc. in Psychology / Clinical Psychology with 3 months training in Clinical Psychology in NIMHANS, CIP, LGBRIMH - Tejpur or other identified institutions.
- Community Nurse (Case Manager) (Mental Health): GNM from any recognized Nursing Council with Administrative experience.
- Case Registry Assistant (Mental Health): Passed HS or equivalent from any Board / Council Completed 6 months course in computer application from as Institution recognized by Government / Autonomous Body.
- Record Keeper (Mental Health): Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university with experience in health sector. Preference will be given to candidates having completed course on Computer Application or Financial Accounting from an Institution recognized by Govt. / Autonomous Body.
