Delhi University’s Antardhvani 2014 Fest Commences Today

    Antardhvani the annual 3-day festival of Delhi University this year commenced from 14 February and will conclude on 16 Feb, 2014. The festival is believed to present equal doses of the old and new.

    Antardhvani today was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. Ved Prakash Chairman, University Grants Commission at 10 a.m.

    The fest will have a flower show which is a an old tradition of over 50 years old, the show is still going to hold the pride of University of Delhi to be presented at the university stadium.

    Antardhvani 2014 theme is based on the 4 year undergraduate course.

    Colleges of DU are to compete each other and excel by demonstrating their “best practices” in carrying out this course. One way could be colleges developing innovative methods of teaching and results, to cite an example. The winning college who successfully carried out this course and enhanced it will receive prize money worth Rs. 10 lakh.

    The finale of the festival, a multiple song and light showis to be held in front of the Vice-Regal Lodge. The Show timings are 6-30p.m., 7-30 p.m. 8-30 p.m. and 9-30 p.m.

    The Location of 2014 fest is Sports Complex, University of Delhi. Entry is free but you need to carry your student identity card to get in.
