Office of the Director of Technical Education, Thiruvananthapuram issued notification invited applications for filling up 4 posts of Programmer for e-Governance (3 posts) and Network Administrator (1 post) with the Department of Technical Education on contract basis for a period of 6 months, extendable for a period of 2 years. 1. Programmer for e-Governance: 3 posts

Remuneration: Rs. 40000 per month (Consolidated)

Mode of recruitment: on Contract basis

Period of recruitment: Two years

Qualifications: B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering OR MCA; Know to use RDBMS tools in MySQL & Oracle and Operation System platforms like Linux

Experience: Minimum Two years experience in open source on environment like PHP, Python, or Java;

2. Network Administrator: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs. 35000 per month (Consolidated)

Mode of recruitment: on Contract basis

Period of recruitment: Two years

Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science (B.Sc. / B.Tech.), Diploma in Hardware/Networking;

Experience: At least three years as a Technician/ Network Administrator/ System Administrator

Candidate with skills in Trouble Shooting of Hardware and Network problems LAN management and Server Management will be preferred.
