Delhi University started its undergraduate courses admission process for the 2012-13 academic session from 4 June 2012. The common Pre-Admission forms can be obtained both online and offline till 18 June 2012 for admission to 54, 000 seats in over 60 colleges spread across the capital.
Aspiring candidates can apply online at DU's website https://ugadmissions.du.ac.in/ Candidates can also apply offline through Common Pre-Admission forms (OMR) which will be available for Rs 100 at 12 Post office (Head Office) and 10 Colleges for General/ OBC category candidates. The Post offices will sell and receive forms from 10 am- 4 pm while colleges will sell it from 10 am- 1 pm.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories-SC/ ST- can submit their form at 4 centres. These reserved category candidates are required to register themselves at the Arts Faculty (North and South campuses), Rajdhani College, and Shyam Lal College from 9.30 am to 2 pm.
Besides this, colleges have been allowed to issue their individual admission forms to Sports/ ECA category. Physically Handicapped candidates can, however, submit their forms at Office of Dean, Student Welfare (North Campus), Conference Centre opp. Botany Department, Gate no. 4, University of Delhi.
The colleges under Delhi University will release the first cut off list on 26 June 2012 followed by similar lists on 29 June, 3 July, 6 July, and 10 July. Apparently, the University will notify further lists and conversions of OBC seats, if required.
