DU Admissions 2014: St. Stephen’s Released Cut-off List, Reaching 98% this year

Getting admission to a reputed college becomes tougher as St Stephen’s College announced its cut-off list for the new academic year of 2014-15, which touches the highest cut-off at 98% for the four year undergraduate programme. This cut-off is for economics and English as both have same set for general category – 97.25% for science, 98% for commerce and 97% for humanities. The cut-off in economics for commerce stream is same as last year whereas for science and humanities stream the percentage has increased by 0.5%.
Reports state that English cut-offs have increased as compared to last year and it is mainly for humanities stream. Except philosophy all the other cut off marks has been increased in the humanities stream. As per principal of St. Stephen’s, Valson Thampu, the cut off set is determined on the basis of the marks scored by the applicants and the cut-off percentage is kept same as that of last year.
This year Delhi University does not have any special requirement or no additional criteria for admission. St Stephen’s is all set to interview each candidate who have made the cut and then only admit.
