FEDO Notified Recruitment for the Graduate Civil Engineers 2014

FACT Engineering and Design Organisation (FEDO), a Division of Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited, Udyogamandal (A Government of India Enterprise) invites applications from eligible candidates to empanel Graduate Civil Engineers with minimum 10 years design experience. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 26 March 2014.

Educational Qualification & Experience

(i) Degree in Civil Engineering Discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade is awarded, the candidate shall indicate the equivalent percentage of marks. Degree shall be of regular full time course of appropriate duration from a University/ Institute recognized by AICTE/ Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

(ii) Candidates with minimum 10 years relevant post qualification experience in Design with STAD Pro/ETABS only will be considered.

(iii) Experience shall be counted as on 28.02.2014, supported by experience certificate.

Age Limit 

• Maximum Age limit for the candidate should be 55 years ( ie. shall be born on or after 1.1.1974) as on 01.01.2014.

 SC/ ST, OBC and PWD candidates will be given age relaxation of 5 years, 3 years& 10 years respectively.

• Age relaxation for ex-servicemen shall be as per Government directives. Relaxations shall be based on the relevant certificates evidencing such eligibility

Pay Scale/ Remuneration

Consolidated monthly salary of Rs.45,000 (for graduate engineers with minimum 10 years relevant experience). Maximum upto Rs 55,000/- based on additional years of relevant experience.

Period of Appointment

The appointment shall normally be for one particular project and for a period of six months to two years initially. If extension of service is required, afresh appointment for the extended contract period will be given. Extension shall be given only if the performance of the candidate is found to be satisfactory.

Fee Applicable 

Application form must accompany with a Non - Refundable Application Fee of Rs. 300/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates through Demand Draft  drawn in favour of FACT Ltd. payable at Udyogamandal, Kochi.
