Goa Public Service Commission invited application for recruitment to the post of Medical Legal Officer, Senior Physician, Junior Consultant and District Welfare Officer. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 30 January 2014.

Pay Scale

• Medico Legal Officer: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
• Senior Physician: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
• Junior Consultants: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-
• District Welfare Officer: Rs.9,300-34,800+4,200/-

Age Limit: Not exceeding 42 years

Educational Qualification

• Medico Legal Officer: A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Senior Physician: A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Junior Consultants: A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• District Welfare Officer: Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent

• For General Category Candidates: Rs 400/-
• For SC, ST, OBC: Rs. 200/-
