GPSC State Tax Inspector Revised Mains Exam Date 2019: Gujarat Public Service Commission has released the revised exam dates of mains exam for the post of State Tax Inspector Class 3, against advertisement number 80/2018-19. As per the notice released by the commission, GPSC Tax Inspector exam is scheduled to be held on 01 December 2019 at Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar Centre. Earlier, the exam was supposed to be held on 17 and 24 November 2019.

GPSC State Tax Inspector Mains Examination is a descriptive type paper. There will be questions from Gujarati Language, English Language, General Studies -I and General Studies –II. Total marks allotted to the test are 4 hours.

All those candidates who have qualified in GPSC Prelims exam can appear for GPSC State Tax Inspector Main Exam on scheduled date and time. A total of 5225 candidates have been qualified in the prelims exam.  GPSC Prelims exam was declared in the month of August 2019.

Selected candidates will be paid Rs. 38090/- (Fix Pay) for 5 years.

GPSC had published recruitment notification for 424 vacancies State Tax Inspector, Class-3 out of which 176 for General, 29 for SC, 63 for ST, 114 for SEBC, 42 for EWS. The online were invited from 18 March to 18 April 2019.
