Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) is a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking with 20 Production/ Overhaul/ Service Divisions and 10 co-located R&D Centres spread across the Country. It invites application from eligible candidates for various posts mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Engineer (Mechanical/ Production/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Computer*)- (Gr-I)
  
  a) Graduates in any of the Branches of Engineering (mentioned on the website) from any recognized Institution/ University with minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of all the semesters for General/ OBC candidates (50% for SC/ST candidates) and corresponding CGPA Ratings/ Gradations are eligible to apply OR
  
  b) First Class (60% Marks) Degree in any of the Branches of Engineering (mentioned on the website) as awarded by the University/ Institute in respect of General/ OBC candidates and Second Class (50% Marks) in respect of SC/ STs are eligible.
• Assistant Medical Officer- (Gr-I): MBBS
• Security Officer (On contract)- (Gr-II): Lt. of Army/ sub Lt. of Navy/ Flying officer of Air Force with recognized university degree in any discipline
• Fire Officer- (Gr-II): BE (Fire Engineer) from National Fire Services College, Nagpur OR Pass in Associate Membership/ Membership Examination of Institute of Fire Engineering- UK OR Degree of Recognized University with pass in GIFE - India/ UK
• Senior Medical Officer (Anaesthesia)- (GR-III): MBBS with PG Degree/PG Diploma in Anaesthetic
• Senior Medical Officer (Paediatrics)- (Gr-III): MBBS with PG Degree/PG Diploma in Paediatrics

Age Limit (as on 1 September 2011)

• Maximum 28 years for post number 1
• Maximum 40 years for post number 2, 3, & 4
• Maximum 45 years for post number 5, & 6

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category need to pay examination fee of Rs 400 in the form of Demand Draft favouring "Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Koraput Division", payable at State Bank of India, Sunabeda-2, Code No. 1304 only.

No fee will be charged from SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

Selection Procedure

For post 1 & 2: The selection procedure will comprise initial screening of application followed by written examination of short listed candidates and interview of selected candidates.

For post 3, 4, 5, & 6: Only Short-listed candidates will be called for Interview
