Eligibility Criteria for Project/Field Assistants and Lab/Field Assistant Job

Educational Qualification:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) ICAR-BMGF: Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Science/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Bioinformatics with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) ICAR-BMGF: Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent/ Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. (Refer ICAR memorandum F. • Project/Field Assistants ICAR-BMGF: Essential: 12th or equivalent pass
• Project/Field Assistants: Essential: 10+2 or equivalent pass
• Lab /Field Assistants: Essential: 10+2 or equivalent pass from recognized board
