Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results for IAS Prelims Exam 2014 on 14 October 2014. The Notification for the Civil Services was issued on 30 May 2014and the IAS Prelims Exam 2014 was conducted on 24 August 2014. Candidates shortlisted in the IAS Prelims Examination are eligible to appear for IAS Main 2014 Examination to be held on 14 December 2014.
Last Date for the Submission of Forms for IAS Main Exam
Around 4, 51,602 candidates took the examination in various exam centres spread across the country, about 1.27 lakh more than last year. The candidature of qualified candidate is provisional. The candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form, DAF (CSM), for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2014. The last date of submission of DAF online is 11 November 2014.

The qualified candidates are also required to take a print out of the finally submitted DAF (CSM) separately after submitting the duly filled DAF (CSM) ONLINE. The successful candidates will have to send the printed copy of the DAF (CSM) duly signed by the candidates along with all relevant documents including the prescribed fees by 18 November 2014.
