IGNOU announces a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in banking and finance, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP) from the academic session starting July 2013.

1.Master of Business Administration (MBA) in banking and finance:
The MBA (Banking & Finance) program has been developed collaboratively by School of Management Studies, IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai and will be offered through countrywide network of Study Centers of IGNOU.
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP):
The Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP) program is developed by School of Management Studies, IGNOU and the Financial Technologies Knowledge Management Company (FTKMC), Mumbai.
Duration:
For MBA: 2 years full time
For PGDFMP: 1 year
Last Date for receipt of application form at the concerned Regional Centre: 30 June 2013
With late fees of Rs.500: 31 July 2013
Eligibility:
For MBA: A Graduate who has passed Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) examinations of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) and have at least two years of work experience in banking or financial sector.
For PGDFMP: Graduation in any discipline
How to obtain application form: Application forms can be obtained from the regional centers by post or in person by paying a required amount. The amount to be paid for obtaining the application form is:

Those who want the Prospectus by Post should send Demand Draft of the requisite amount drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ payable at the city from where the Prospectus is requested by 20 June 2013. Candidates should mention their name, address and programme code on the reverse of the DD and send your request to the concerned IGNOU office.
The Application can also be downloaded from IGNOU website and submitted along with the cost of the Prospectus in addition to the Programme fee.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should obtain the application form through either of the ways described above, fill it and send it to the concerned regional center so as to reach their by the prescribed last date.
