Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will launch 11 new courses under Management Development Programmes (MDPs) from the upcoming new session 2014-15.
From the new academic session to begin from this year, total 77 open enrolment Management Development Programmes (MDPs) will be listed on offer, wherein 11 new MDPs will be added for the first time from 2014-15 session, as mentioned in the release of the B-School.
The new programmes on the offer list will include 'Business Dispute Resolution: International and Domestic Arbitration', which may be controlled by Anurag K Agarwal.
‘Doing Business Abroad' and 'Family Business: Organisation, Strategies, Internationalisation and Succession' will be managed by Ajeet Mathur.
'Employee Engagement: A 3D Approach', 'Strategic Transformational Training Methodology' and 'Industrial Relations: Changes, Challenges and Responses' would be coordinated by Jerome Joseph.
'Business Turnaround and Organisational Transformation' and 'Managing People for Excellence in Healthcare' programmes will be coordinated by Sunil Maheswari.
‘Designing Systems for Developing Internal Talent' and 'Leadership Pipeline' would be coordinated by Biju Varkkey.
Psychological Assessment and Psycho- Metrics' will be coordinated by Promila Agarwal and last among the new courses is named as 'Enhancing Service Quality in Healthcare' with Rajeshkumar Chandwani likely to be the coordinator.
Director of IIM-A, Ashish Nanda told to media, that to realize their vision, IIM-A is following a three-pronged approach of Connect, Nurture and Grow.
Besides introducing new courses, 10 new faculty members have also be hired by the IIM-A, with their joining commenced since September 2013, as told by the institute.
