Eligibility Criteria for Senior Project Officer and Other Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Junior Project Officer: 1st Class B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with CCNA certification. 6 years experience in project management/field study in the area of Mining Instrumentation.

Principal Project Officer (Technical): BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or M. Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent in related field and 6 years’ hands-on experience in software development including at least 2 years’ experience in a lead position.

Principal Project Officer (Graphics Designer): Bachelor degree in Fine Arts or Visual Arts or equivalent with 10 years’ relevant hands-on industry experience.

Chief Project Officer (Research)): Ph. D or equivalent in relevant field with 8 years’ experience since graduation (B. Tech/BE or equivalent) out of which at least 4 years’ active research experience.

Senior Project Officer/Project Officer (Adm. Accs.): Masters (any subject) or MBA (any domain) with 10 years’ experience for SPO and 7 years experience for PO.

Senior Project Officer/Project Officer (IT): BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or M. Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent in related field. Candidates who will graduate by July 2017 meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply: - CGPA of 7.5 and above (or equivalent) - Minimum 75% marks in Secondary (10th) level - Minimum 70% marks in Higher Secondary (12th) level and 2 years’ hands-on experience in software development in relevant technologies.

Senior project Officer/Project Officer (Library Science): MLIS/ADIS/M Sc in Digital Library with first class or equivalent in related field and 8 years experience.

Senior Project Officer/Project Officer (Systems): BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or equivalent in related field with 4 years’ experience (total) and for PO at least 2 years’ experience (total).

Project Officer/Junior Project Officer (Library Science): Bachelor / Master degree in science / engineering / law / medicine / arts / humanities followed by Master Degree in Library & Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc) with first class or equivalent in related field with 5 years relevant experience out of which 2 years’ experience in Digital Library.

Project Officer/Junior Project Officer (Social Media): Bachelor degree in any discipline and 2 years’ experience and for JPO, at least 6 months’ hands-on industry experience.

Project Officer/Junior Project Officer (Subject Matter Expert): Masters or equivalent in relevant subject and 3 years’ (total) experience.

Project Officer/Junior Project Officer (User Communication): Bachelor degree in any discipline with 3 years’ relevant experience.

Principal Project Officer (Research): Ph. D or M. Tech/MS in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent in related field and 5 years’ experience since graduation (B. Tech/BE or equivalent) out of which at least 2 years’ active research experience.

Technical Officer: BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or M. Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent in related field. 3 years’ hands-on experience in software development including at least 1 year experience in lead position.

Principal Project Officer (Systems): BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or equivalent in related field and 8 years’ experience (total) in data center operation and system administration.

Selection Process for Senior Project Officer and Other Posts

Candidates will be selected in the basis of the performance in the interview.
