IIT- Kanpur Successfully Organized Conference on Mathematical Modelling on 31 December

A conference on Computer Simulating with Applications and Mathematical Modeling was organized by the IIT-Kanpur at its campus on 31 December 2013, with the support of Indian Society of Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulation (ISMMACS).

General Secretary of ISMMACS, PrawalSinhagreeted the guests and the conference was commenced by Ganesh and SaraswatiVandana.

The IIT-Kanpur Director,Indranil Manna who was also the chief guest at the event spoke about the utility of the mathematical modelling and picked details.

He also spoke on the need of creating models to meet the solution to the problems. He advised the engineers and scientists present therein to discover ways out to the real world and currently existing problems. More than 20 scientists from across the country as well as foreign places in addition to about 50 research scholars came to participate in the conference.
 
The Conference concluded with the organizers showing gratitude to the National Board for Higher Mathematics and department of science and technology. Founder of ISMMACS and President J.B.Shukla conveyed the complete facts and knowledge on the conference theme coined as ‘Mathematical modeling: What it has to do with the infectious diseases?'
