Army has invited the application for the recruiting on the 96 posts of Religious Teachers as Junior Commissioned Officers for RRT 87 and 88 courses. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format before 03 November 2018.

Important Dates:

Date of commencement of online registration : 05 October 2018

Closing date for online registration: 03 November 2018

Maulvi (Sunni)-05

Maulvi (Shia)-01

Padre-02

Bodh Monk(Mahayaana)-01

Army Recruitment for Religious Teachers Educational Qualification:

Pandit: Hindu candidates with Acharya in Sanskrit or Shastri in Sanskrit with one-year diploma in 'Karam Kand;

Granthi-Sikh Candidates with Gyani in Punjabi.

Maulvi (Sunni) and Maulvi (Shia): Muslims candidates with Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib Alim in Urdu.

Padre-Christian Candidates who have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and it still on the approved list of the local Bishop.

Bodh Monk (Mahayaana)-Buddhitst (Mahayana) candidates have been ordained Monk/Buddhist Priest by the appropriate authority.

Army Recruitment for Religious Teachers Age Limit

Candidates would not below 25 years of age and not above 34 years as on 01 Oct 2019 (i.e. Candidates born between 01 Oct 1985 and 30 Sep 1994 inclusive of both dates)
