Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (FOR SC&ST) -01/2017 BATCH

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• General Duty: Bachelor degree of a recognised university with minimum 55% marks with Mathematics and Physics as a subject.
• General Duty (Pilot): Bachelor degree of a recognised university with minimum 55% marks with Mathematics and Physics as a subject.
• Technical branch (Mechanical and Electrical): Engineering degree with 55% marks or Should have passed Sections A and B examination from the Institution of Engineers (India) in Naval architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace or Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics.
• Pilots (CPL): 12^th passed with 60% marks and should possess current/valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued/validated by DGCA on the date of submission of application.

Age Limit:

• General Duty: 1 Jul 1987 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive).
• General Duty (Pilot): 1 Jul 1987 to 30 Jun 1998 (both dates inclusive).
• Technical branch (Mechanical and Electrical): 1 Jul 1987 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive).
• Pilots (CPL): 1 Jul 1987 to 30 Jun 1998 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Procedure for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (FOR SC&ST) -01/2017 BATCH: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit.
