The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, on 5 December, 2014 announced that its new MBA programme will now be available for students from all streams i.e. for non-engineering students as well. Interested candidates can avail the relevant information from their official website.
"We believe that knowledge shouldn't be restricted to specific disciplines and students from all fields make a good mix at any institution, especially in terms of cross-disciplinary learning. Also the corporate world is getting increasingly competitive, the demand for qualified and multi-talented managers is also rising," said Kanika. T. Bhal, head of the department.
Eligibility criteria:
- The eligibility of a candidate will be assessed from their academic record, starting from performance in Class X and XII apart from their CAT score and performance in group discussion (GD)and personal interview (PI).
- The extracurricular activities and professional experience of an aspirant will be an add on.
