ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Specialist Medical Officer (SMO in Deputy Commandant)- Candidates should have Degree in Allopathic System from any recognized university in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule other than licentiate qualification included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub Section 3 of section 13 of IMC Act 1956. They should have PG degree/Diploma in related specialist as per IMA.
Medical Officer (MO in Assistant Commandant)- Candidates should have recognized Medical qualification of allopathic systems of Medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub Section 3 of section 13 of IMC Act 1956. PG degree/Diploma in related specialist as per IMA. The candidates must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI before appointment in any of the CAPFs and completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Super Specialist Medical Officer (SSMO in Second in Command)- Candidates should have Graduate in Medicine (M.B.B.S) Or Equivalent for a Recognized University in the first Schedule to the Medical Council Act.
