JNU Recruitment 2019: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Professor. Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the prescribed format on or before 19 Aug 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for Faculty Posts
Educational Qualification:

• Associate Professor: Good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines; Master's Degree with at least 55% marks.
• Assistant Professor – Master's degree with 55% marks in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Professor – PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed.

Pay Scale for Faculty Posts

• Associate Professor – Academic Pay Level 13 A of 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix
• Assistant Professor – Pay Level-10 of 7th CPC (Rs. 57,700-1,82,400/-)
• Professor – Pay Level 14 of 7th CPC (Rs.1,44,200/-2,18,200/-)
