Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Loco Pilot Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Assistant Loco Pilot : candidate should have completed Matriculation or equivalent and ITI (Fitter, Electrician, Instrument  Mechanic, Mill Wright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Mechanist Refrigeration and A/C Mechanic, or Diploma in Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering recognized by AICTE). Candidate’s land should have been acquired by Konkan railway or (Sons / Spouse / Unmarried daughters / Grandsons/ Unmarried Granddaughters only) or candidates registered with Employment Exchanges (GEN/OBC/SC/ST) with valid registration along   Konkan   Railway route within the jurisdiction of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. 

Selection Process for Assistant Loco Pilot Posts

Candidates will be selected on the basis of academic merit and medical examination.
