KTET Syllabus 2025: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the syllabus for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) on its official website. KTET Syllabus 2025 Category-wise

The KTET Syllabus covers a total of four categories such as Category 1 (Lower Primary Classes), Category 2 (Upper Primary Classes), Category 3 (High School Classes), and Category 4 (Language Teachers, Specialist Teachers and Physical Education teachers). KTET Category 1 Syllabus

The Kerala Category 1 syllabus will be based on the chapters covered in the Class 1-5 curriculum. This test assesses the candidate’s knowledge in the language opted for by them, child development & pedagogy, environmental studies and mathematics. Environmental Studies	Content: Family, Water, Agriculture, Vehicles, Soil, Earth, Shelters, Diseases, Food, Jobs, Public Institute, Energy. Animal world, Plants, etc. Pedagogy: Science development, Aims of learning science, Supplementary activities for enhancing science learning, Characteristics of science teaching, Approaches of science teaching. KTET Category 2 Syllabus

The Kerala Category 2 syllabus will be based on the topics mentioned in the Class 6-8 curriculum prescribed by SCERT. This test checks the candidate’s knowledge in the language opted for by them, child development & pedagogy, and mathematics/science. The Kerala Category 3 syllabus will be based on the chapters covered in the Class 9-12 curriculum specified by SCERT. This test analyses the candidate’s knowledge in the language opted by them, adolescent psychology, theories of learning and teaching aptitude, and subject-specific areas. KTET Exam Pattern 2025

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the KTET Exam Pattern 2024 through the official notification. There shall be four papers in KTET 2024 exam such as Category 1, Category 2, Category 3, and Category 4. The subject-wise questions and marks are different in each category. However, a total of 150 objective-type questions for 150 marks are asked in this exam. The exam duration is 2.5 hours in each category. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark shall be awarded for each correct answer and there shall be no negative marking for wrong answer in the exam.
