Senior Scientist and Head For Disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years of experience in relevant subject Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent position the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400 /Rs. 6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching/extension as evidence by published work / innovations and impact.

For Engineering disciplines: Doctoral degree in relevant Agricultural engineering subject with 6 years of experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/Rs. 6000/Rs. 7000/Rs. 8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/innovative and impact. OR

Master's degree in the relevant agricultural engineering subject with 10 years of experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/Rs. 6000/Rs. 7000/Rs. 8000 having made contribution to research / teaching /extension education as evidenced by published work / innovative and impact

SMS (Agronomy): Master's degree in the Agronomy or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

SMS (Entomology): Master's degree in the Entomology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

SMS (Horticulture): Master's degree in Horticulture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

SMS (Agril. Extension): Master's degree in Agricultural Extension or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

SMS (Home Science): Master's degree in Home Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Programme Assistant (Soil Science): Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Programme Assistant (Computer): Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Programme Assistant (Farm Manager): Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Assistant: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with working knowledge of computers.

Stenographer (Grade-III): Intermediate/PUC from the recognized State Board University &Knowledge of Computer. The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer.

Driver: Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized Board. Possession of a valid and appropriate driving license from prescribed Govt. authority (the candidates will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate committee.

Skilled Supporting Staff: Matriculation pass or equivalent or ITI pass.
