Last Date extended for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Recruitment till 16 Oct, 2072 TGT/PGT/Other Post

Last date has been extended for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti recruitment process. Candidates can now apply till 16 October against 2072 TGT, PGT, Principal and Assistant Commissioner posts.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti had notified of 2072 vacancies during September. Applications were invited for the same till 09 October. However in a fresh update it has stated an extension in the last date of submission till 16 October. The last date to submit fee through e-challan is 18 October.

NVS has set eligibility criteria for each of the post mentioned above. Detailed eligibility criteria can be found below

TGT : candidate should have completed 04 year integrated course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks or Bachelor’s Degree minimum 55% in relevant combination of Subjects and B.Ed. Candidate should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English and should have qualified CTET conducted by CBSE.

PGT : candidate should have completed M.Sc/ PG from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks or Master’s Degree and B.Ed with minimum 55% in relevant Subject. Candidate should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English

Assistant Commissioner: candidate should have completed Master’s Degree in Humanities/ Sciences/ Commerce from a recognised university. Candidate should be holding analogous post/ post of principal in the requisite pay grade or 05-year experience in the Educational Planning and Administration in any Govt. /Semi Govt. /Autonomous Organization.

Principal: candidate should have completed Master’s Degree with minimum 55% and B.Ed from a recognised university. Candidate should be holding analogous post/ post of Vice- principal in the requisite pay grade or 12 year experience in as PGT/Master/Lecturer in any Govt. /Semi Govt. /Autonomous Organization.

Misc. Teachers: candidate should have completed Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Library science/ Physical Education. Candidate should have working knowledge of Hindi and other regional languages. For the post of ART/ Music teacher candidate should have Five years Recognized Diploma/PG in any discipline of Fine Arts as Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Crafts after passing Secondary Examination.

TGT (III Language) : candidate should have completed 04 year integrated course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks or Bachelor’s Degree minimum 55% in relevant language Subject and B.Ed. Candidate should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English and should have qualified CTET conducted by CBSE.
