Eligibility Criteria for Faculty Posts 2016

Educational Qualification

• Professor: A Master Degree with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in the point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University. A Ph.D. Degree in concerned / allied relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
• Associate Professor: Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
• Assistant Professor: Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in Pharmacy with First class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters’ degree.

Experience

• Professor: A total experience of 10 years of teaching/ research/ administration in University / College& other institutions of higher education.
• Associate Professor: A minimum of five years of experience of teaching and / or research in an Academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution / Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research either evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publication as books and / or research / policy papers.
