Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Job
Educational Qualification:
Applicants who are interested to apply for the Assistant Professor post must possess Ph.D in relevant departments.
Experience:
- Assistant Professor (Pay Band - 3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7000) - One year post Ph.D experience of Teaching and Research in reputed institution .
- Professor (Pay Band 4 with Grade Pay of Rs. 10500) - 3 years post Ph.D experience or 6 years total teaching and research experience in reputed Institute or in relevant industry
- Associate Professor (Pay Band 4 with Grade Pay of Rs. 9500) - 6 years post Ph.D experience which includes atleast 3 years experience at the level of Assistant Professor with grade pay of 8000 or 9 years total working experience of which 3 years should be after Ph.D
- Professor (Pay Band 4 with Grade Pay of Rs. 10500) - 10 years post Ph.D experience or 13 years total working experience of which73 years should be after Ph.D
- Professor (Higher Administrative Grade Scale) - 6 years experience as a Professor with a grade pay of 10000
Age Limit
Not more than 60 Years except in the case of faculty with exceptionally brilliant research career and with on-going or approved externally funded research project.
