Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) organizes National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA &NA) Examination. Through NDA Exam, candidates get admission to the courses at National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. UPSC organizes NDA Exam twice in a year, NDA Exam (I) mostly in the month of April, while NDA & NA (II) in the month of September.
Exam Paper Pattern of NDA & NA Examination
It consists of two Papers, 1.General Ability Test – 150 Questions (600 marks) and 2. Mathematics – 120 questions (300 marks) and with objective type questions. The duration for each Paper is 2 Hours 30 Minutes. There was negative marking for the each wrong answer.
Syllabus of NDA & NA Examination Paper I
Paper I - General Ability Test, The paper will be divided into two parts:-
Part A: English Language- In Part A of Question Paper I questions will be on various aspects like- Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension etc.
Part B: General knowledge –It including, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Economics, History of India & freedom movement, Geography, Polity and Currents Affairs etc.
