Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) organizes National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA &NA) Examination. Through NDA Exam, candidates get admission to the courses at National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. UPSC organizes NDA Exam twice in a year, NDA Exam (I) mostly in the month of April, while NDA & NA (II) in the month of September.
Exam Paper Pattern of NDA & NA Examination
It consists of two Papers, 1.General Ability Test – 150 Questions (600 marks) and 2. Mathematics – 120 questions (300 marks) and with objective type questions. The time allotted for each Paper is 2 Hours 30 minutes. There was the penalty (One-third) for the wrong answer.
Syllabus of NDA & NA Examination Paper II
Paper II- Mathematics: In this paper, Examiner follows the syllabus of 12th class to making the questions. It’s including Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability.
