NSU Job Notification: National Sports University (NSU), Imphal, Under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has invited applications for the 18 posts of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. The eligible candidates can attend the walk-in-interview on 05th/9th August 2019.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Associate Professor (Physical Education):

• Master’s Degree in Physical Education/M.P.Ed./M.P.E.S with at least 55%of the marks with good academic record of its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 Point Scale.
• At least eight years teaching research experience in a Department College of Physical Education out of which at least three years in the post graduate level.
• Candidate should have clear the NET conducted by the UGC or Similar test accredited by the UGS like SLET/SET.

Associate Professor (Sports Coaching):

• Master Degree in Physical Education and Diploma in Sports Coaching or equivalent degree (Recognized University or Institute)/NSNIS Diploma in Sports Coaching with at least 55% of the marks with good academic record or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 Point Scale.

Consolidated Remuneration:

• Associate Professor (Physical Education)-Rs. 1,75,000 per month
• Associate Professor (Sports Coaching)- Rs. 1,75,000 per month
• Assistant Professor (Sports Coaching)- Rs. 80,000 per month
• Assistant Professor (Physical Education)- Rs. 80,000 per month
• Assistant Professor (Sports Psychology)- Rs. 80,000 per month

Selection Process
Selection will be done on the basis of performance of the candidates in the Interview.
